Metlox "Medallion Red"
Metlox "Medallion Red" was introduced in 1971 and was produced until 1976; a new contemporary shape that resembled hand-thrown stoneware. The Studio Potter shape featured wide, upraised rims. Concentric impressions were lightly molded into each piece as though shaped by a potter's fingertips at the studio wheel. This was Metlox's primary model for the 1970's & 1980's.
