Metlox "Medallion Red" Oval Serving Platter. Classic 1970's studio potter shape serving platter measures 13" long, 9-3/4" wide & 1-1/2" deep. Excellent Condition; no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no stains; both platters appear unused with no utensil wear. Hallmarked on back. Some of the pieces were "seconds" purchased directly from the manufacturing facility in Manhattan Beach California. These pieces had underglaze manufacturing flaws like color skips & glaze pops.
