Franciscan "Fern Dell" Coffee Cup & Saucer Set. Made in Los Angeles California by Gladding McBean & Co. Coffee Cup measures 4" diameter, & 2-1/8" deep. Saucer measures 6" diameter & 7/8" deep. Hallmarked on bottom with Franciscan "Blue Circle" logo. Very Good Condition, no chips, no cracks, no crazing; lightly used.
The saucer has one mint green fern frond. The cup has one fern frond on each side, one mint green & one blue.

Franciscan's Fern Dell pattern; a cool, clean refreshing spray of mountain spring fern fronds. Soothing green & blue fern fronds on delicate silver stems, set upon a speckled cream background. Fern Dell, was introduced in 1957, & uses the same mid-century modern shaped mold as Franciscan's classic Autumn pattern.
