Vintage 1940's Franciscan "Wildflower" Tureen & Lid. Beautifully hand painted in Los Angeles California by Gladding McBean & Company. Tureen measures 10" long from handle to handle, 8-1/4" diameter; and stands 3-3/8" tall; Lid measures 6-1/2" diameter & 5-1/4" tall on tureen to finial. Mint Condition; no chips, no cracks, no flakes, no stains, no crazing. Gorgeous color & shiny glaze. Hallmarked & incised on bottom with Gladding McBean "Franciscan Ware" logo.
